Really meant to post this last night, but didn't have enough CPU cycles left on my laptop to browse the web, let alone post messages.
Did a reading of the aquarium on Tuesday night. Levels were back to normal, except for NO 3 which had dropped from 160ppm to 5. I was running out of time then, so I figured it was safe to do the water change on Wednesday.
So that's what I did. I only did a 15% change, washed the filters and NitraZorb bag. Because I had just done the water change, I couldn't do a reliable set of tests then so I did them this morning.
Everything seems good. All levels are acceptable and fish are very happy. I even gave them a little food. They were nearly jumping out of the water getting to the top so quickly...
Will do another set of tests tomorrow night, and if all is still well, will recharge the NitraZorb and resume proper feeding, maybe a little less than they have been getting normally just for a while.
