I just LOVE this design. However, she remains my cautionary tale for stitchers. It is very hard to get the suggested special colour fabrics in New Zealand (and it was worse when I stitched Earthdancer) so I'm used to having to substitute. I chose to use raw linen instead and without thinking used my favourite count - 32. When it came to trying to fit all the beads on I thought I was going to die. In the end I had to adjust the pattern and little and leave some out, just to make everything fit. Then, of course, Marilyn released Spiritdancer and I wanted to stitch her to match. Another 32 count beading adventure loomed. :-)

I simplified the design by removing the wing (or whatever it is) from her hair and the ornaments from the dreamcatcher. I like her better this way.
